Independent Federal Senator David Pocock and Briony Benjamin held an inspiring discussion in Robina about David's family journey to Australia, the gratitude he has for Australia, a career in Rugby and why he became a Federal Senator.

We also launched McPherson Independent!  An organisation working towards electing a community independent in the Federal seat of McPherson. McPherson Independent announced they were starting their search for a candidate with nominations today. The crowd immediately nominated a bunch of wonderful people.

Drinks and conversations were held after the panel discussion where people got to meet David and chat about local issues and politics. The GreenFields Rooftop Bar & Restaurant was certainly a beautiful place to connect and hang out.
